April 2006: The Renaissance Community Team makes the commitment to pursue the dream of building the Believe in Tomorrow House at Pinnacle Falls on homesite 33.
May 2006: Con Dameron, Architect volunteers to design the Believe In Tomorrow House at Pinnacle Falls.
June 2006: Maryanne & Brian visit Pinnacle Falls and the site of the Believe in Tomorrow House at Pinnacle Falls.

October 2006: "Mission Possible" Brian Morrison Founder of Believe In Tomorrow goes on a solo hike through the Grand Canyon. Brian spent a week hiking through the Grand Canyon as a fund raiser for Believe In Tomorrow.
January 2007: The Believe in Tomorrow House plans are approved! The plans include a family recreation room with pool table, sunroom, outdoor deck & porches and much more.
February 2007: Lorraine Plaxico donated her talents and gave us a completed Artist Rendering of this very special Believe in Tomorrow House.
March 2007: Renaissance hosts first builder meeting to go over the house plans. We appreciate all of you for your support and being a part of our first building meeting! Combs Construction, Mill Creek Post & Beam, Fireside Log Homes, Salon Blue Ridge, B& B Plumbing, Luther Smith & Associates.
Mill Creek Post and Beam commits to providing a vaulted timber frame structure!

April 2007: On Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 11:30 Renaissance Communities and Believe in Tomorrow will officially "break ground" on the Believe in Tomorrow House at Pinnacle Falls at our annual Springtime Celebration. Come enjoy lunch, live music and new friendships!
May 2007: Groundbreaking Festivities Critically ill children at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md., made a banner last week. Their names and handprints decorated the long, wide piece of white cloth. Written in large letters were the words: Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
The children were thanking the Believe in Tomorrow Foundation, the Amick family, Renaissance Communities and businesses in Henderson, Polk and Transylvania counties who are donating time, money, labor and materials to build a place for the children to relax, rest, spend time with family members and simply get away from the day-to-day life of doctors, illness and hospitals.
June 2007: Combs Construction commits to overseeing the building process.
July 2007: We got our building permit!
August 2007: Grading, footings & septic complete.
September 2007: Foundation is underway! Framing is next. Mill Creek Post & Beam Logs are being milled. We are getting closer to Bikers Believe~motorcycle ride!
October 2007: On Saturday October 6 we had perfect fall weather and over 60 motorcycles came to ride...At the end of a great ride we enjoyed live music, a delicious BBQ plate and gave away tickets fot a suite at a NASCAR race in Charlotte, NC. All this fun and we raised money, too!
November 2007: Floor System installed by AGR Builders. Mill Creek Post and Beams delivered!
December 2007: Happy holidays from our families to yours!
January 2007: Framing is in process...Gary Carpenter has volunteered to place all the post and beams!
